About Subrat
Subrat is one of the pioneers of AI in India — a founder who helped initiate the country's first wave of applied AI and has since advised industries across the spectrum on putting AI to work for growth and operational excellence. Based in Bengaluru, his career spans industrial technology, enterprise software, and AI-driven transformation, working alongside the operators, manufacturers, and engineers who actually run the world's factory floors.
An alumnus of IIM Bangalore, his work cuts across steel, garments, pharmaceuticals, and consumer goods, and various other industrial and financial sectors — together driving a meaningful share of India's economy. Profiled by IndiaAI for his contributions to the country's applied-AI ecosystem, he remains an active voice in shaping how Indian industry adopts AI.
